Terrence Philip Beaudry

d. January 10, 2025

Terrence “Terry” Beaudry, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on January 10, 2025, in Stillwater, Minnesota at the age of 89. Born and raised in Hudson Wisconsin, Terry dedicated his life to serving others and was an unwavering presence in his community. He served in the National Guard and later graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor in Industrial Education.

An esteemed Special Education Monitor with the State of Minnesota Department of Education, Terry’s passion for education extended beyond the classroom. He generously devoted his time teaching GED classes at the St. Croix County Jail, guiding those in need with compassion and kindness. After retiring from the State of Minnesota, Terry started his own garage door repair service operating out of Hudson for many years.

An avid outdoorsman, Terry found joy in fishing, hunting, and golf, relishing every moment spent outside. His love for the great outdoors was matched only by his commitment to his faith as an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, where he served on the board for the building committee. His tireless dedication to the church and community was evident in all his endeavors, showcasing his belief in the importance of giving back.

Terry was a man of many talents and could never sit still. He discovered woodworking later in life, embarking on a journey that led him to become an extraordinary woodcarver. Despite being his own toughest critic, he poured his heart and soul into each piece he crafted. Terry also found joy in bowling, continuing to enjoy the sport well into his 89th year, demonstrating his spirited love for life.

As family and friends come together during this time, we will celebrate a life well-lived—the laughter, lessons, and love shared with Terry will live on in each of us. He taught us the value of perseverance, the beauty of nature, and the importance of community. May his spirit continue to inspire us as we reflect on the indelible mark he has left on our hearts.

Terry is survived by his wife Arlene Beaudry; children Terri (Don) Lonergan, Michael Beaudry; grandson Shawn Lonergan; brother James (Judy) Beaudry; brother-in-law Gene Shefland; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
