Terrence “Terry” Mahoney, age 80 of Hudson, WI passed away on Monday February 11, 2019, at Christian Community Home in Hudson.  Terry was born June 11, 1938, in St. Paul, MN. Terry grew up in the St. Paul Park area and graduated from Par-Ki in 1956.  Terry later earned a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls in 1966.  Terry taught sixth grade in the Hudson School District for two years, then left to work for 3M for nearly 30 years until his retirement in 1997. 

Terry is preceded in death by parents Murtice and Marie Mahoney, brothers Maurice and Patrick, and granddaughter Kelsey Lee. 

Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Barbara, daughter Susan (Bob) Lee, son Mark Mahoney, granddaughter Jordan Lee, sister Kathleen Mahoney, sister Mooneen (Bob) Skundberg, sister-in-law Janet Mahoney, nieces, nephews, and Barb’s extended family. 

A memorial service for Terry will be held on Sunday February 24, 2019 at 3 p.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 110 N 3rd St, River Falls, WI 54022, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  A private interment will be held in the spring.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Congregational United Church of Christ, 110 N 3rd St, River Falls, WI 54022 are suggested.  Terry’s family would like to thank the staff at Christian Community Home in Hudson, Hudson Hospital, and Lakeview Hospice who have assisted him and our family in these final months.  Funeral services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson.
