Thomas A. Driscoll

Thomas Allen Driscoll, 84, of Prescott, WI, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, at United Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Born on December 15, 1939, to John and Ellen (Cotter) Driscoll, Thomas was a lifelong resident of Prescott. He graduated from Prescott High School in 1958 and went on to lead a life filled with love, service, and community.

On September 30, 1972, Thomas married the love of his life, Margaret Nelson, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Beldenville, WI. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with shared memories and unwavering support.

Tom was a kind-hearted and easygoing man with a deep sense of pride in his military service. He was also a dedicated volunteer firefighter and a passionate supporter of Prescott High School athletics, enthusiastically cheering on every sport from baseball to basketball. An avid football fan, he especially loved watching the Green Bay Packers and rarely missed an NFL game.

In his free time, Tom enjoyed car rides with Margaret, playing Euchre, and having coffee in the mornings at Ptacek’s with his friends. His warm presence and steadfast commitment to his community will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Tom is survived by his wife Margaret; his brother: Bernard Driscoll along with numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Daniel Driscoll, Betty (Robert) Seleski, and Carol (Paul) Marschall.

A memorial service will be at Monday, December 9th at 11:30am at Old Ptacek’s Event Center: 1449 Orrin Rd, Prescott, WI 54021. The visitation will be at 10:30am until the prayer service. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Prescott.
