Thomas Genslak

Thomas Genslak, age 70 of Ellsworth died June 26, 2024 at United Hospital in St. Paul following a brief illness. Tom was born on March 12, 1954 in Appleton, Wisconsin; the son of Adolph and Vila (Schwabenlender) Genslak. Tom’s favorite thing was electronics from a young age. He studied at Fox Valley Tech in Appleton, WI. Following this, he held various jobs in this industry. Most recently, he worked as a Field Service Officer as he prepared and installed bio-medical equipment. He had a green thumb and thoroughly enjoyed gardening. He was an excellent cook; even though his creations were mostly for himself. He loved living in the country and riding around on his gator visiting neighbors. He enjoyed entertaining friends and neighbors in his man cave.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents and brother Adolph (Tiny) Genslak Jr.

Tom is survived by his siblings Joan Sweere, Sandra (Kuni) Iwata, Stan (Mary) Genslak; as well as Daughter Becky Genslak; special cousin Jim Schwabenlender; and his Nieces and Nephews.
Private services and burial will take place. Memorials in Tom’s memory can be made to Twenty-Two Farms in Baldwin, Wisconsin.
A private graveside service will be held with his family. Cremation services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Ellsworth.

    I was truly sorry to hear of Tom’s passing when I returned to Prescott Nursing & Rehab today. In the short time that I knew him, he was kind and courteous and I enjoyed seeing and talking with him each day. May good memories get you through these weeks and months. Lisa Paquet
