Thomas Jack Feldmann died on 1/31/23 in Hudson, Wisconsin at the age of 92.

Tom was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on July 23, 1930 to Wilhelm Heinrich and Ora Feldmann. He received an associate’s degree from the University of Minnesota, and he married Dorothy Josephine Rooney in 1954. They settled in St. Paul where Tom worked as an insurance agent, and also tried his hand at a number of different trades – Swiss Colony cheese shop owner, Culligan man, and manufacturer’s representative.

Tom was an accomplished skier. In his early years, he and his buddies could be found soaring from the Battle Creek ski jump in St. Paul. Later, Tom and Dorothy joined the ski patrol at Afton Alps. Tom taught his children to ski and instilled in them a love of the sport. Tom also practiced yoga before it was popular and exercised five days a week at the local YMCA well into his 80s.

Tom had a quick wit and loved to make people laugh. Tom is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy; his children, Jodell Galman, Jillian Waldman, Jennifer Feldmann, and Thomas Feldmann; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Bethel Lutheran Church – Downtown Campus, 920 Third St., Hudson with a visitation held one hour prior to the service at the church.
