Thomas (Tom) Mark Forseth was born to Clifford Robert Forseth and Ruby Irene Forseth (Dobbe) on February 27, 1960 at the Iola Hospital in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. Tom passed away in his New Richmond, Wisconsin home after a 19 year battle with Parkinson’s Disease on September 22, 2024 with family surrounding him.

Both sets of Tom’s grandparents and his parents preceded him in death. Tom is survived by his wife Debra (Deb) Ann Forseth (Bratz) of 41 years. They were married in St. Paul, Minnesota on May 21, 1983. Together they raised six children: Virginia, Mark (Madelinn), John, Amy, Paul and Rachel. Tom and Deb are proud grandparents to 8 grandchildren. Tom’s sister, MaryKay Witten, brothers Dan and Tim Forseth also are survived along with two nephews.
Tom was very proud of his accomplishments having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, a Master’s Degree in Business and a CPA (Certified Public Accountant).

When their children were younger, Tom and Deb took them to see their grandma Ruby and Grandma Larson (Deb’s mom) as well as many trips to the Red Mill in Little Hope, Wisconsin, various water parks at the Dells in Wisconsin, various state parks including up to the Split Rock Lighthouse, Tettegouche State Park, Temperance State Park, and so many others. The Forseth Family Adventures included hiking, swimming, canoeing, camping and so much more and often included cousins and friends. The biggest family trip was in 2007 when they traveled to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Teton National Park stopping at Devil’s Tower, Wall Drug, the Corn Palace, and Custer State Park were they saw buffalo close up.

Celebration of Life Service and Reception 11 AM Saturday October 5, 2024 at Midcurrent Church, 200 1st St, Hudson. Arrangements entrusted to O’Connell Funeral Home of Hudson.
