Thomas “Tom” Murphy age 56 of Hudson, WI, formerly of Stillwater, MN, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on December 2, 2021. He was born on May 15, 1965 in St. Paul, MN, and was raised in Stillwater, MN. He graduated from Stillwater High School where he played football. He also played hockey and baseball and was an excellent golfer and water skier. After graduation, he attended the University of Minnesota and later worked at Quality Tool as an engineer.

Tom loved to be outside especially if he was fishing or golfing or being with friends on the St. Croix River. He had a great sense of humor and people loved to be around him because of that. He will always be remembered for his big heart.  

He will remain in the hearts of his fiancé Mori Hagen; children Brianna (Mark) Jacobson, Tierney (Cole) Murphy; children in heart Trevor (Danni) Iverson, Shelbi (Chris) Iverson and Emma (Daryl) Hagen; mother Nancy Tierney Colombo; sister Michelle (Craig) Berquist; nephews Nikolas (Jenn) Kindschy, Erik Kindschy, and Benjamin Berquist; his beloved dog Gizmo as well as many friends, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his loving step father Greg Colombo.

A memorial service for Tom will be held on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI. Visitation will be from 1-2pm with his service starting at 2pm.
