Tim Huppert

Timothy Patrick “Tim” Huppert, age 67 of Roberts WI, died on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at United Hospital in St. Paul MN. Tim was born February 11, 1951 in River Falls WI to parents Walter and Margaret “Peg” (Kealy) Huppert. Tim attended schools in River Falls, and graduated from River Falls High School with the Class of 1969. Tim was united in marriage on April 24, 1971 to Linda Danielson. Their union in marriage was blessed with two children, Eric and Cari, and over 47 years of love and devotion.

Tim farmed, and worked as a diesel mechanic to provide for his family. He also played bass in the band, “The Distant Sonns”. Tim was a NASCAR fan, and had the experience of a lifetime driving a race car for 30 laps around the Atlanta Speedway. Tim had an affinity for Dodge Challengers and all things Mopar. Tim also loved his Allis-Chalmers tractors, and the Green Bay Packers. Tim took great pride in being involved with his grandchildren, Corey and Jenna and their activities. He was a devoted and selfless man to his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Linda; his son, Eric (Michele) Huppert; his daughter, Cari (Rick Nellessen) Huppert; his grandchildren, Corey and Jenna; sisters-in-law, Louise Huppert and Debbie Huppert; father-in-law, Dan Turner; siblings-in-law, Mike (Sue) Danielson, Deed (Rita) Danielson, Sue Jacoby; and Bruce Danielson; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and good friends. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Walt and Peg Huppert; brothers, Mick and Pat Huppert; mother-in-law, Millie Turner; and father-in-law, Walter Danielson.

Mass of Christian Burial for Tim Huppert will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, October 19th at St Bridget’s Catholic Church, 211 E. Division Street in River Falls WI, with Rev. Fr. Jerry Harris officiating. Visitation will be held at church beginning at 1:00pm. Tim will be laid to rest at St Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery. Services are in the care of the O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral home of River Falls WI. 715-425-5644
