Timothy Evan Hoffman

Timothy Evan Hoffman, age 27, of Hudson, WI died Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN, from injuries received in a car accident. He was born on January 6, 1992 in River Falls, WI to Mark and Janet (Samarotto) Hoffman. He was a 2010 graduate of Hudson High School and graduated from Century College in mechanics and welding.
Timm started working when he was 17 at Swede’s Station as a mechanic until two years ago when he went to work for Crown International as a forklift mechanic. He could fix most anything and if he didn’t know how to do it, he’d figure it out with his logical precision. Timm spent every possible moment outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, off-roading, or just hanging out with his friends. He was a great teacher of all he knew. He was a natural at playing the guitar as well as cooking in the kitchen.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John D. Hoffman, Bob Samarotto, Ann (Lee) Rossi.
Timm is lovingly survived by his mother, Janet Samarotto (Les Rhoads); his father, Mark (Patricia) Hoffman; his brother, Josh Hoffman (Paige Richardson); step-sisters, Amanda (Darren) Creason, Jessica (Brian) Mach, Jennifer (Brandon) Bosher; step-brother, Jacob (Brianna) Sass; grandmother, Barbara (Maury) Thompson; extended family and many friends; also most importantly his dog, Dakota.
A memorial service will be 11:00 am on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the River Falls United Methodist Church, 127 South Second Street, River Falls, WI with a gathering of family and friends from 9:00-11:00 am. Luncheon to follow. There will be a more informal celebration of Timm’s life at a later date, yet to be set.
