In Memory of Timothy Franklin

Timothy Harry Franklin, age 79, of Roberts, Wisconsin, passed away on December 31, 2021 at the Encore Assisted Living in North Branch, MN. Tim was born on June 27, 1942 in St. Paul, MN, the middle of three sons born to Harry and Vernice (Swaner) Franklin. Tim grew up in North Hudson and graduated from Hudson High School before attending vocational school. He made his home in Roberts, WI and was blessed with three sons from a marriage that later ended in divorce. In 1991, Tim was united in marriage to Naomia (Schaffner) Harmon, and the couple enjoyed 11 years together before her death in 2002. Tim worked as a truck driver for several companies, and retired from Schneider National. He loved spending time with his family and friends and going camping in his motorhome. He as fond of watching football and always cheered for the Green Bay Packers.

 

Tim will remain in the hearts of his sons, Jay (Jackie), Doug (Linda), and Brad (Cindy); step daughters, Marcia Halterman, and Suzette (Todd) Sherburne; grandchildren, Connie, Tim, Jason, Dan, and Laura; Denise, Amy, Cindy, and Chris; Elizabeth and Samantha; and Shawn; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Harry (Gail) Franklin Jr.; mother of his sons, Marianne Franklin; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Naomia; infant son, Timothy; step-son-in-law, Dale Halterman; grandson, Cody Halterman; his parents, Harry and Vernice Franklin; and brother, William Franklin Sr.

 

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held in the Spring/Summer of 2022. Cards for his family can be mailed to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI 54016, to be forwarded.

    • This breaks my heart to read this sad news! My heart and prayers go out to the family and all his loved ones! Tim was such an amazing soul! Always had a huge smile and a hug topped with great conversation whenever I ran into him! He will truly be missed and never forgotten!!
