Timothy C. Gaffney, age 63 of Roberts, WI, formerly of Owen, WI passed away July 14, 2013. Timothy was born on May 18, 1950 in Owen, Wisconsin; the son of Richard and Alice (McKee) Gaffney. He graduated from Neillsville High School in the class of ’68 prior to furthering his education at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He would be married to Mary Stargardt in Neillsville. This union would be blessed with a daughter Danielle. Although this union would later dissolve, they remained good friends. Timothy worked in the claims division at Hartford Life Insurance.
Timothy had a great appreciation for the outdoors and its beauty. He loved fishing, camping, and ventures through the woods. He received the greatest pleasure spending time with his grandsons, especially playing water balloon baseball and sharing funny stories.
He will fondly be remembered by his daughter, Danielle (James) Olson of Bismarck, ND; grandsons, Tanner, Chandler and Kolby; former wife and friend, Mary Gaffney (John); sisters, Colleen Johnson, Kathy Gaffney and Janet (Dave) Thomas; brother, Richard Gaffney; his girlfriend Bonnie Flasch’s children, Mike, Kim, and Angie and their families;  the entire Stargardt family; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his girlfriend, Bonnie Flash; parents, Richard and Alice, sisters, Susan Johnson, Jane “Toni” Gaffney, and his brother, Pat Gaffney.  
A Celebration of Tim’s Life will take place 1:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Mill Pond Park in Owen, with a picnic style lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to support Juvenile Diabetes.
