Tina Marie Ormston, age 46 of Hammond, formerly of Hudson died June 21st, 2018 at Regions Hospital following a brief illness with glioblastoma brain cancer. Tina was born on February 15, 1972 in St. Paul, Minnesota; the daughter of Charles and Vivian Ormston. She was raised in Hudson where she attended elementary school prior to graduating from Hudson High School She would further her education at Redwing Technical receiving her Associates Degree in Nursing. Early in her career, she worked for Greeley Healthcare prior to beginning a long and rewarding career as a nurse at the Christian Community Home in Hudson.  Over many years, she was a comforting face to many St. Croix Valley resident families and will be sorely missed.  Tina had a great appreciation for Native American culture and history. She enjoyed reading literature and gaining a greater understanding of their heritage and traveling to areas to learn more as well. Her greatest love was that of her daughter Micheala.

Tina will remain in the hearts of her daughter Micheala; mother Vivian Ormston of Superior; father Charles ‘Chuck’ (Carol) Ormston of Somerset; and her Christian Community Family. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Gerald Lawler, Jack and Mercedes Ormston.

A Memorial Service remembering Tina will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10th at the Christian Community Home in Hudson with Chaplain Tom Johnson officiating. Interment will be private. Memorials are preferred.
