Todd Anthony Gustafson, of River Falls, WI, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, at the age of 58. Todd’s death came as a release from his ongoing struggle with prostate cancer and Parkinson’s disease.
Born December 27, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN, to Betty Ann Nordby, Todd was later adopted by John Kavanaugh Gustafson, whom his mother married in 1969. His family moved between Minneapolis and San Diego, CA several times during his growing up.
Todd was married three times: first to Karen A. Ekendstedt in January 1977; then to Patricia Ann Ranft in August 1984, with whom he had a daughter; and finally to Tammy Ann Iten on November 30 1991, with whom he had four children.
Todd held a variety of jobs in areas ranging from IT and manufacturing to trucking. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he derived great satisfaction from his volunteer work in the LDS temple in Oakdale, MN.
He is survived by his wife Tammy and children Seth, Shaina, Shem, and Sarai, all of River Falls, Wisconsin; Jennifer Patricia Potter, a child from an earlier marriage; and half-brother Steven Dennis Keeler of Downey, California.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at the Hudson building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
