“Tonii Maureen Swanson, age 95 of Oceanside, CA, formerly of Maiden Rock, WI, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020.  Tonii was born January 31, 1925 in Red Wing, MN to Thomas and Carrie (Burridge) Skane.  She graduated from Maiden Rock High School in the Class of 1943.  Tonii was married twice to the love of her life, Lawrence D. Swanson.  Their marriage was blessed with 8 years until his death on April 24, 1989.  Tonii worked as an accountant for many years.  She was known by one and all as a true friend who was beloved by her entire family, including cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Tonii enjoyed her family, reading her Bible, working crosswords puzzles, and writing beautiful hand-written letters with lots of smiley faces!

Tonii will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Private graveside services will take place at Bethel Covenant Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 130 N Grant St., Ellsworth, WI 54011.”
