Tyler Keiper

It’s with deepest sorrow and sadness we announce that Tyler J. Keiper, age 28 of Prescott, WI, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 13, 2021.

Tyler was a 2011 graduate of Prescott High School.  He was a very loving, giving, honest and passionate son, brother, uncle and friend.  His caring-loving heart, his silly/goofy sense of humor, his incredible selflessness and his amazing smile touched the hearts of everyone who knew him or came in contact with, even for those who only knew him for a short time.  He would do anything for anyone, even ones he didn’t know.  His big heart seemed to migrate and love the hardest towards the ones he came in contact with that were “the underdogs”, the ones who struggled, the ones others would shy from because they were hard to understand, they were different, they were challenging.  He wanted nothing more but to make them smile and feel special and loved, and he did just that.  He forever changed the lives of all those he knew.

At a very young age, he took extreme interest in sports.  Tyler and his brother Brandon would watch sports center instead of cartoons and they knew the stats of, or it seemed, of almost every baseball, football and basketball player even more than adults did.  Tyler loved fishing, golfing, doing back flips off the pontoon boat and anything sports related (but especially the Green Bay Packers).

Tyler was working at Andersen Windows and Doors in Bayport, MN at the time of his passing as a line lead, where he touched and made a difference in many lives there.  Prior to working there, he worked many years at Annas Bananas Daycare Center as a teacher’s aide, where the love for those children was a true gift from God that shined like no others we have ever seen.

Tyler will forever remain in the hearts of his mom, Michelle Keiper (finace’ John Boogren); his dad, Greg Keiper (wife Alicia); brother, Brandon (wife, Amber); sisters, Kaylee and Layla; nephew, Beckham; grandparents, Ed and Cherie Schneider and Karen and Rich Keiper; aunt, Vicki (cousin, Faith); uncle, Jeff Keiper (wife, Jill); and many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Tyler’s life open to all family and friends will take place 1:00 – 4:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Old Ptaceks Event Center, 1449 Orrin Rd, Prescott.  Private family services will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the O’Connell-Benedict Funeral Home of Prescott (715) 262-5404.  www.oconnellfuneralservices.com
