Vaughn Jensen, age 63 of Woodville, Wisconsin, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System -St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota surrounded by his family.

Vaughn was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Charles and Freda Jensen. He was baptized and confirmed at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Baldwin, and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Baldwin. He graduated from Baldwin-Woodville High School in 1967. He was married to Judy (Hansen) Jensen for 42 years. They were blessed with two children and five grandchildren.

Vaughn worked at the St. Croix County Highway Department for 39 years. He enjoyed being outdoors – farming and caring for his crops and animals, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, riding his tractors, watching Packer games, teasing and irritating everyone with his sense of humor.

Vaughn was preceded in death by his father Charles and his mother Freda, grandparents Christ and Anna Jensen, and Virgil and Bessie March. He is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Renee (Ken) Dykhouse, son Lance (Kate) Jensen, grandchildren Kaden, Karter, and Kolin Dykhouse, and Joey and Evelyn Jensen, sister Patricia (Al) Harrington, brother Duane (Sherry) Jensen, father-in-law and mother-in-law Bob and Doris Hansen, sisters-in-law Mary (Ron) Roen and JoAnn (Randy) Hoffman along with other relatives. Vaughn will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral service for Vaughn will be 7:00PM Tuesday March 13 at Peace Lutheran Church in Baldwin with pastor John Hanson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with casket bearers being Brandon Jensen, Eric Hoffman, Bret Wang, Mike Haller, Tim Haller, Nick Peterson, Brian Ferg and Zach Nelson. Visitation will be prior to the service from 4PM until 7PM at Peace Lutheran Church. Memorials are preferred. Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Baldwin.
