Victoria Schorn

Victoria Elsie Schorn, age 87 of River Falls, passed away May 20, 2020 at Comforts of Home in River Falls. Victoria was born September 29, 1932 in River Falls to William and Augusta (Kroboth) Lubich. She graduated from River Falls High School, with the Class of 1951. On October 24, 1953, Vicki was united in marriage to Lawrence Schorn at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Their marriage was blessed with four children, Michael, Joseph, Scott, and Wendy. Vicki worked as a cook for Mary’s Café in River Falls for many years. She later worked as a housekeeper at the Luther Home until her retirement.

Vicki’s greatest treasure was her family. She was a loving and wonderful grandma, always supporting her grandchildren in their school and sporting activities. Vicki had a gracious and nurturing heart, lending a hand as a caretaker to family members and neighbors. She was sure to welcome you with good food, help out to clean, or be the first one to do the dishes. Vicki’s fun-loving spirit had a way of bringing laughter and joy to those around her. She enjoyed bowling and was dedicated in getting in her daily walks.

Vicki will remain in the hearts of her children, Joseph Schorn (Roxanne Levens) of River Falls, Scott Schorn (Josh Santos) of Los Angeles, CA, and Wendy Schorn (Dan Schlosser) of Elmwood, WI; grandchildren: Ashley Schorn (fiancé Josh), Michael Schorn, Jordan (Mansi Desai) Christopherson-Schorn, Tyler Christopherson-Schorn, Caroline Christopherson-Schorn, Allison Christopherson-Schorn, Jake Rock and Hailey Rock; sister-in-law, Ursula Lubich; along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; son, Michael; siblilngs, Marie Schrank, Edmond Lubich, Ethel Kusilek, Hart Lubich, Bill Lubich, Jim Lubich, Roman Lubich and Frank Lubich; and her parents, William and Augusta Lubich.

A Visitation (Respecting social distancing, encouraging the use of masks, and limiting 10 people at a time into the funeral home) will take place 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the O’Connell-Benedict Funeral Home, 225 S 3rd St, River Falls. Graveside services (masks and social distancing encouraged) officiated by Fr. Gerald Harris, will follow at 2:30 PM Saturday at St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery. Vicki’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
