Victoria “Vicky” B. Novak (Staszewski), age 102, of Hudson, WI, passed away on Easter morning, April 9, 2023 at Hudson Hospital, surrounded by family.

Vicky was born on March 10, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI and proudly graduated from Pulaski High School in 1939.

Survived by her daughter and caregiver, Barbara Kaiser; grandchildren: Todd (Christy) Rabidoux, Katie (Steve) Weis, Courtney (Greg) Hedin, Sally (Dan) Hilsgen, Marcus Novak, and Ashley (Robert) Elkins; great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Emma, Grace, Anna, Josie, Leda, Kiley, Brayden, Raelynn, and Autumn; dear sister, Theresa (Frank) Arbinger; and son-in-law, Alan Rabidoux (Eileen Schachte).

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary (Splitter) Staszewski; husband, Benedict; infant son, Clifford; children, Judy Rabidoux and Doug Novak; son-in-law, Don Kaiser; and 12 siblings, especially special brother, George Staszewski.

Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St., Hudson, WI with visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Private family burial will be held at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI. The Mass will be livestreamed on St. Patrick’s Facebook Page HERE. Memorials are preferred to St. Patrick Catholic Church or donor’s choice.

The family wishes to express deep appreciation for all of the staff at Red Cedar Canyon for their loving care of Vicky over the last 10 years.
