Violet J Schack

Violet Julia Schack, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1st in River Falls, Wisconsin. She was born on June 30, 1928 to the late Arthur and Gertrude (nee Worby) Stoner, in Swaffham, Norfolk, England. On August 9, 1947, she married the late John Joseph Schack, in Orange, New Jersey.Together, they raised nine children. Among their residences were West Orange, Parsippany and Point Pleasant, New Jersey and River Falls, Wisconsin.Violet is survived by all nine of her children, Marie Larson (Dr. Hal Wighton) of Bloomer; Patricia Schack of Green Bay; James Schack (Linda) of Point Pleasant, New Jersey; Irene Cashman (Richard), Kenneth Schack and Kevin Schack (Monica) of River Falls; John Schack of Jersey City, New Jersey; Christopher Schack (Leasa Featherston) of Austin, Arkansas and Bernadette Vanatta (Jay) of Columbia, Illinois; 15 grandchildren, Shannon Slatky, Heidi Larson, James Schack, Krysta Schack, Kayla Schack, Katie Melin, Kelly Wenzel, Molly Cashman, Brittany Schack, Lauren Schack-Coley, Ashley Schack, Riley Schack, Kaylee Vanatta, Jaynie Vanatta and Heather Kelton; three great grandchildren, Tyler & Brandon Slatky and Alivia Melin; as well as five of her siblings, Hilda Pearce of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England; Pauline Larner of Innisfil, Ontario, Canada; Norma Licznerski of Orillia, Ontario; Canada, John Stoner of Madiera, Portugal, and Gillian Gates of Kings Lynn, Norfolk, England and numerous nieces and nephews.Besides her parents and husband, Violet is preceded in death by six of her siblings, Harry Stoner, Thelma Walker, twin brother Archie Stoner, Peter Stoner, Beryl Seymour and Sheila Stoner. Cashman-Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
