  1. What a kind and gentle man. Wayne was my favorite customer when I worked for Stone Oil Co. I always left the farm with a smile. Condolences to his family.

  2. I was always a rambunctious kid. Always outside, running around, looking to explore and often getting into trouble. Mostly due to my own inquisitiveness. My grandpa Wayne, being the patient and kind man he was found me a job. Every time I would visit the farm he would ask me to clean up all the loose hay in the hay loft. He would set me lose with a pitch fork and pay me with the change from his dresser. lol. It would keep me busy for hours. Of course that big pile of straw or hay, whatever he had in the loft at the time made a pretty good landing spot when swinging from an old rope hanging from a rafter. Then I’d have to pile it all back up again to get paid. I don’t know if that was part of his plan or just a happy accident but it definitely kept me out of trouble. My grandpa was the most amazing man I have ever met and I will always regret not being able to learn more from his wisdom. I love you grandpa.
