William “Bill” J. Hoppe, 75, of River Falls died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Hudson Hospital with his family by his side.He was born on November 30, 1938 to Norman and Clara (Christensen) Hoppe in Oconto, WI.Bill graduated from Oconto High School. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stout with his Bachelors and Masters in Industrial Technology. He worked for Allis-Chalmers in West Allis, WI for 36 years. Bill married Beverly Ockler on July 7, 1962 in Menomonie.He enjoyed his family, playing music, woodworking, dancing, camping and traveling.Bill is survived by his wife, Bev, his three children, Bruce (Jean) Hoppe, Beth (Jon) Hoppe- Stidham and Brenda (Thomas) Hoppe-Ebert, seven grandchildren, Anna, William and George Hoppe, Levi and Samantha Stidham , Eva and Benjamin Hoppe- Ebert, a brother, Marvin (Joan) Hoppe, four sisters, Clarice Picard, Norma Modrow, Phyllis Murphy, Dolores (Roger) Badora, and nieces, nephews and manyrelatives and friends.Bill is preceded in death by his parents.Cashman-Hill funeral Home & Cremation service is assisting the family
