Wilma Violet Timm, age 86 of Prescott, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 2, 2022 at her residence. Wilma was born on August 20, 1935 to Joseph and Anna (Kurhajec) Evaska in New Haven Township, WI. She graduated from Boyceville High School with the class of 1956. Wilma went on to marry the love of her life Calvin Donald Timm on June 1, 1957 at Holy Trinity Church in Tiffany Township, WI. Their union blessed them with three daughters: Julie, Brenda, and Shelley.

Wilma was a loving person who cared for anyone she met. Her family was most important to her and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, crocheting, playing cards especially “Bridge” with friends and spending weekends up at the cabin with her family. Wilma was also fond of going to the casino with her daughters and occasionally winning too! Wilma always had time to listen and be there for people. She would also share some of her wisdom with you, which usually proved to be right even though her daughters did not always want to admit it!

Wilma is survived by her three daughters, Julie Timm-Wood, Brenda (Doug) Haas, and Shelley (Gary) Nelson; grandchildren: Casey (Jeremy) Greenwaldt, Carly (Ryan) DeCamp, Joe Haas, Patrick Haas, Tara (Bryan) Kochendorfer, Jake Nelson, Tiffany (Kyle) Johnson, and Jordan Wood; great grandchildren: Shea, William, Isabel, Cal, Max, Taya, and Tessley. She is futher survived by her sister Martha Jacobson along with many very much-loved nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Calvin, parents, sister, brother-in-laws, parents-in-law, and three sister-in-laws.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Joy Lutheran Church, 1435 St Croix St, Prescott, WI 54021. A visitation will start at 10:00am until the start of the service. Pastor Steven Meyers will officiate. Burial will be at Pine Glen Cemetery in Prescott. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Joy Lutheran Church Memorial Fund
