In fact, many funeral homes offer ‘cremation services’ but rarely do they have their own crematory . This means that they have to transport to an onsite crematory outside the county or even out of state! This translates to higher charges$ We are the ONLY crematory in St. Croix and Pierce Counties. We cremate only one person at a time. With scandals rocking the country, it is important to be informed and understand your options. Can the crematory offer 24/7 inspection of their crematory? Do they know the name of the person who is cremating your loved one? Are they a funeral director?

Everyone needs an understanding of the cremation process. Cremation is the process of reducing the body of the deceased to fragments of bone by way of heat and flame. We prefer to say “cremated remains” rather than “ashes” because we believe that the term “ashes” can be misleading. Our funeral directors or crematory staff can explain the consistency of cremated remains in as much detail as you prefer.
