Joshua Michael Gergen II, age 17 of Prescott, WI, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2021 at his home. Joshua was born February 15, 2004 in St. Paul, MN to Joshua Michael and Donna Marie (Perez) Gergen. A happy only child growing up, Joshua was known to family as “Mikee.” He was quite the jokester and delighted in making others laugh, and often was told to “cut the comedy.”
Joshua just completed his Junior year at Prescott High School. Active and enjoying sports, Josh played football and ran track. He was fond of being on the winter hills skiing and snowboarding, and relished the summers on the water jet skiing and fishing. Like most teenagers, Joshua also loved hanging out with his friends and spending his time gaming. A good friend and leader to others, Josh was looked up to by his peers. In deep sadness, hearts are broken with this tremendous loss and would have gone beyond measure to show Joshua how truly loved he is.
Joshua will forever remain in the hearts of his parents, Donna Marie and Joshua Gergen; grandmothers, Hildur Perez and Candace Gergen (Troskey Vincent); great grandmother, Helen Egland; along with loving aunts, uncles, cousins, special friend, Mallory Boles, countless friends and his dog, Scrappy. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Federico Perez and Thomas Gergen.
A Visitation will take place 4:00 – 7:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM Service, Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Old Ptaceks Event Center, 1449 Orrin Rd., Prescott, with Pastor Tim Rosenow officiating.
