Age 94, of River Falls, died on January 16, 2014 at the Ellsworth Care Center following a long battle with Alzheimer’s.Ruth came to River Falls in July of 1986 to be closer to her son, Ed, daughter-in-law, Cathy and grandson, Tony. She previously had lived in California with sisters, Emily and Lois.Ruth loved being with family and friends, listening to Bob Uecker on the radio. She was an avid Brewer fan.She is survived by one son, Ed (Cathy) Miller, four daughters, Claudia (James) DiJohn , Bonnie Sorce, Marilyn (Frank) Determan, Pam (David) Russel, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, nieces and nephews and other relatives.Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Clara Martin, a son, Victor and three grandchildren, Mark and Lisa Denny and Daniel Stift.Memorials preferred to the family and may be mailed to Ed & Cathy 723 Oak Knoll Ave. River Falls, WI. 54022.Cashman-Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, River Falls, WI Is serving the family.
