Betty Ann VandeBerg, age 79, of Prescott, died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Regina Senior Living, Hastings, MN.Betty was born on November 3, 1934 in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Hjalmer and Johanna (Peterson) Rosenquist. She married Darrell VandeBerg on May 28, 1955 in St. Paul, MN. Together they had four daughters.Betty loved to scrapbook, keeping up with family history, dressing up for Halloween, candle making and gardening. She was an active member of thePrescott United Church of Christ, singing in the choir and serving at funerals. Betty also served as a 4H leader for over 20 years, and directing the 4H plays.Betty is survived by her husband, Darrell, of Prescott, WI.Four daughters: Penny Entringer, Glencoe, MN; Linda (Dean) Speetzen, Prescott, WI; Gayle Renaud, LaCrosse, WI; Stacy (John) Rogers, Prescott, WI.Four grandchildren: Corrine, Rebecca, Ian, and Hannah. Four great-grandchildren: Peyton, Rachel, Conner, and Kaitlyn.Sister, Lois Townsend and brother, Delmore Rosenquist.Betty is further survived by Tina Buckley and other relatives and friends.Preceding her in death were her parents, and brother Lester and sisters Delores and Violet.Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimers Assc.Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Prescott is serving the family.
