Zachary ”Zach” J. Wateski, 30, of River Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the River Falls Hospital.Zach was born in LaCrosse, WI on May 25, 1983 to Michael Wateski and Rhonda Phillips. He graduated from River Falls High School in 2002 and from Brown College for Television Production. Zach worked at Camp St. Croix YMCA Hudson and Johnnie’s Bar in River Falls. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, throwing darts and spending time with his family and friends. Zach was a Green Bay Packer fanatic.He is survived by his mother; Rhonda (Steven) Davison of River Falls, father; Michael (Laura) Wateski of LaCrosse, two sisters; Jackie (Joe) Sahnow of River Falls and FaithRose Wateski of LaCrosse, nephew; Jaxon Sahnow of River Falls, grandparents; Ronald (Donna Mae) Phillips of LaCrosse, Nancy Sargent of LaCrosse, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Zach is preceded in death by his grandparents; Charles and Laura Cottone, Frank Wateski, Dale Sargent and great grandparents; William and Bernice “Grandma Na” Fauska, Ruby Frauenkron and Willie Phillips.In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up at River Falls State Bank for the River Falls Junior bowling and Camp St. Croix.
