Randy A. Kusilek, age 50, of River Falls, WI died Monday, October 27, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following a one year, courageous battle with a Glioblastoma.Randy was born on November 28, 1963 in River Falls, WI. He was the son of Eugene and Gweneth (Ray) Kusilek.He was a 1982 graduate of River Falls High School and later attended UW River Falls. Randy married Laurie Draxler in 1997 in River Falls. He worked for Andersen Windows and later as a rep for the Schwan’s Company. Most recently, Randy worked as a funeral director’s assistant for Cashman-Hill Funeral Home, River Falls. Randy served for two terms on the River Falls City Council and was a member of Ezekiel Lutheran Church.Randy enjoyed fishing, watching Packers football, playing card games like euchre, cribbage and blackjack, hunting, spontaneous outings, golfing, and spending time at the cabin with family and friends. He loved cooking and entertaining most of all. He will be missed by many.Randy is survived by his wife Laurie, children: Meghan and Corey, brothers: Mike (Kim) and Troy (Chris), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
