Cale Anger, Age 29, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2015.
He was born on February 11, 1985, in St. Paul, MN, the son of Tom Anger and Julie
Hoeschen. He married Yelena Anger July 19, 2008 in Hudson, WI.
Cale graduated with two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Eau
Claire and a dual Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Hydrogeology from
the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Cale graduated with many honors, including
the distinguished Master’s Thesis Award for his research on harmful chemicals in
antibacterial products. He enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, playing games, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
He is survived by wife, Yelena; mother, Julie Hoeschen; father, Thomas Anger; siblings,
Leah Christopherson and Richard Hoeschen Jr; grandmothers, Bernice Westerberg and
Shirley Anger; stepfather, Richard Hoeschen Sr; stepmother, Collete Earley; stepsister,
Riley Harrison; step-grandparents, Jerome and Genevieve Hoeschen; half-sisters Nikki
Equitz and Becca Anger; in-laws Irina and Leonid Astashinsky; sister-in-law, Rachel
Astashinsky; and many more family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gerald “Jerry” Westerberg and Thomas Anger Sr.
A memorial service for Cale will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7 at United
Church of Christ in Prescott, WI. Visitation will begin 2 hours prior to the service. Lunch
reception to follow.
