Ralph Alois Huppert

Ralph Alois Huppert, 92 of Hager City, Wi passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 14, 2015, surrounded by his loving family

Ralph was born on January 27, 1923 in Trimbelle Township, Pierce County, the son of John and Margaretha (Zirnhelt) Huppert. He married Avis Kinneman on February 7, 1948 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Big River, WI. To this union seven children were born: Ginny, Gary, Randy, Rita, Tami and two daughters who died in infancy.

Ralph was a hard working farmer his entire working life. He was the 4th generation on the family farm. Randy is the 5th generation. In retirement he enjoyed traveling, wintering in Arizona with Avis and spending time with his family and friends. He still liked to help out on the farm. Ralph was a great husband, dad, and grandpa and will be dearly missed. In 2013 Ralph was recognized as one of the
Most Admired Senior Citizen’s in Pierce County. He was a life-long member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Big River. He served many terms on the Trimbelle Town Board.

Surviving him is his loving wife of 67 years, Avis.
4 Children: Ginny (Tom) Huber and Randy Huppert, both of Hager City, WI, Rita (Joe) Cordova of Waunakee, WI , Tami (Denny) Langer of Ellsworth, WI.
9 Grandchildren: Trent (Michelle) Huber, Tessa (Wes) Villegas, Aaron (Tracy) Huppert, Cory (Gena) Huppert, Cole (Tara) Langer, Renae (Jake) Flett, Nicole (Randy) Carr, Kim and Courtney Cordova.
Great-grandchildren: Lily and Adam Huber, Andrew, Athena and Eric Stifter, Vada and Dade Flett, Tate and Kade Huppert, Teagan and Crue Huppert and Alivia and Wesley Villegas.
1 Great-great grandson, Noah Stifter.

Ralph is further survived by his sister, Agnes O’Neil, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, son, Gary, two infant daughters, brothers Mathias, Edward, Anthony, Arnold, Rudolph and Alex, sisters, Martha Nelson, Florence Murphy and Kathryn Larson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am, on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Big River. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on at the church on Tuesday, from 4-8pm, and for one hour prior to the Mass on Wednesday.
