Lloyd Richard Anderson, age 82, of Bay City, WI passed away peacefully on June 5, 2015 at the Prescott Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 30, 1933 in Red Wing, MN to Ludwig and Elvera (Manfred) Anderson. On February 6, 1960 he was united in marriage to Nellie Mae Christofferson. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Lloyd farmed his entire life and also was a union carpenter. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved John Wayne movies.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ludwig and Elvera; sister, Joyce Mohn.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nellie of Bay City, WI; children, Brenda Crawford of Manassas, VA, Greg (Deb) Anderson of Bay City, WI, Annette Anderson and Rich Anderson both of Ellsworth, WI; two grandsons that Lloyd and Nellie raised, Joe Anderson of Bay City, WI and Matt Anderson of Ellsworth, WI; sisters, Edith (Ken) Hoffman of Lake City, MN and Darlene Hagen of Farmington, MN; numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation and reception will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Bay City American Legion/Harding Hall followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM. Private interment will be held at Tabor Lutheran Cemetery, Bay City, WI.
