Alberta “Becky” Mae Bennett, age 85, of Onalaska, WI, formerly of Ellsworth, WI, died Thursday, July 09, 2015 at the Onalaska Health Care Center.

Becky was born in River Falls, WI on June 19, 1930 the daughter of Clyde and Bertha (Ruemmele) Lovell.
She grew up in River Falls where she attended the local schools and was a graduate of River Falls High School. Prior to her marriage she worked for Northwest Airlines. Becky married Donald Bennett on September 26, 1964 at St. Bridget Catholic Church in River Falls. Together they started a family and she stayed home to raise her three sons, Greg, Jeff and Tim. For a short time Becky worked for The Strom Group Homes of Ellsworth. Most of all she loved being a mom, caring for others, spending time with her family at their cabins and being an active member of St. Francis Catholic Church.

Becky is survived by her three sons: Gregory of Mindoro, WI; Jeffrey of Eau Claire, WI; and Timothy of Sparta, WI.

Two grandchildren: Hannah and Nathan.

Three sisters: Harriet Kiffe, Rosaline Keiser, and Isabel Graf.

She is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death was her husband Donald in 1998, parents, brothers George and Stan, sisters Frances Weishaar, and Agnes Lovell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am, Monday, July 13, 2015 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI. Burial will be in St. Bridget Cemetery, River Falls, WI. Visitation will be on Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm at the Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, WI and for one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Monday.
