Adam Jeffery Haster, 36, of Hastings, Minnesota, passed away on September 20, 2015. Adam fought a lengthy battle of illness with courage and always planned for the future with excitement and optimism. Adam was born on May 21, 1979 in Hastings, Minnesota and was the son of Daniel Frank and Lola Jane Haster of Ellsworth, Wisconsin.

Adam was a 1997 graduate of Ellsworth High School where he played varsity football and was honored with a record breaking number of tackles. He was among the Ellsworth Homecoming Royalty in 1997.

Following high school, Adam obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Hospitality and Tourism, College of Management at the University of Wisconsin Stout. Adam was named the T.A. (Teacher’s Assistant) in the Wine and Spirits course his senior year.

Adam is survived by his parents Dan and Lola Haster “Schaffer” of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, his sister Lisa Haster and her special friend Kipp Christianson of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Brother John Haster, sister-in-law Jessica “Lien” Haster and their daughters Ruby and Maisey Haster of Bayport Minnesota, many aunts, uncles, cousins, childhood, college and adult friends and his dog Scarlett Jo.

Adam was employed and licensed as an independent residential inspector with Certified Inspection Professionals. His interests included hunting, fishing, the great outdoors, cheering on his favorite teams (Minnesota Twins, Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers), socializing, offering his many talents, extending kind gestures to others, photography and participating in the culinary arts.

A Celebration of Life for Adam will be held from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015, with Prayers and Memories at 2:00 p.m., the same day, at Roger and Cindy Nelson’s residence, N2696 County Road A, Maiden Rock, WI 54750.
