Jane Ann Slinde, age 90, of Ellsworth, formerly of Houlton, WI, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Ellsworth Preferred Senior Living. Jane was born in Oakdale, MN on December 7, 1925 to the late Louis and Edna (Krause) Masterman. She was a high school graduate of North St. Paul in 1943. Jane worked at First State Bank of North St. Paul for 28 years until her retirement. She loved being outside working in her gardens and feeding the birds. Jane played an active role in her community by being a member at the Lake Elmo VFW for 20 years, the Swiss Club for 10 years, the St. Paul Lutheran Church for 25 years and did quilting with church ladies for 15 years. She is survived by her son, James (Theresa) Lacy, Beldenville, WI; three grandsons, Jeff (Kari) Lacy, Jason (Janelle) Lacy and Jamey Lacy all of Ellsworth; five great grandchildren; and a brother Marvin (Beverly) Masterman. Jane is preceded in death by her husbands, George Lacy, Ed Brown and Ed Slinde; and an infant daughter Ann.

Funeral services for Jane will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, WI. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls, WI. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday.
