John Fred Eisele

John Fred Eisele, Jr. age 80, of River Falls, WI died accidentally of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning at his home on Thursday, January 12, 2017. He was born on May 30, 1936 in Johnstown, PA to John and Jane (Conrad) Eisele, Sr. Growing up in Johnstown, PA he looked forward to summers where he would spend time with his aunts and cousins on the Allegheny River. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1958.

John received his BS Degree in Chemistry Education as well as a Master’s Degree. He was a Chemistry teacher in Hudson, WI for a few years before he began working for 3M in the Micro Film Division. He worked for 3M for 32 years.

John was an active member of the River Falls Masonic Lodge since 1979. He was also a member of the River Falls American Legion. John will be remembered as a great lover of the outdoors and as a champion Bass fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Jane Eisele, Sr.

John is survived by his significant other, Therese Manore Bryant of Stillwater, MN; two children, Midge Eisele of Mountain View, CA, John Eisele of Hillsdale, WI; three grandchildren, Megan Eisele, Aren Eisele, Justin Eisele; his sisters, Bev Robinson of Warminster, PA, Deanna “DeeGee” Beasley of New York State.

A memorial service for John will be held 11:00 am Friday, January 27th at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, Afton, MN with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the River Falls American Legion or Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, Afton, MN.
