Kathryn Mae Schultz, age 95, of River Falls, WI passed away peacefully at the Hudson Hospital in Hudson, WI on Friday, March 10, 2017. She was born on January 21, 1922 in River Falls to Fred and Emma (Mueller) Kurtz. On September 20, 1942 she was united in marriage to Gus Schultz at the River Falls United Methodist Church. Kathryn was a homemaker until her youngest children were in high school. She then became the credit manager at the Sears Catalog Store in River Falls.

Kathryn enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the piano, attending her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s activities and playing cards.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gus; daughter, Nancy (Schultz) Stokes; sons-in-law, Ken Niedfeldt and Robert Stewart, and other beloved family members.

Kathryn is survived by her loving children, Harland (Jane) Schultz, Kathleen (Don) McCune, Diane (Dennis) Hitchcock, Joan Niedfeldt; her grandchildren, Kenneth Stewart, Dawn (Schultz) Bremer, Dennis Schultz, Michael Stewart; great-grandchildren, Kayla Bremer, Kyle Stewart, Julia Schultz, Natalie Stewart.

Funeral services for Kathryn will be 11:00 am Monday, March 20, 2017 at the River Falls United Methodist Church in River Falls, WI. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls, WI.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the River Falls United Methodist Church for the music fund.
