Grace Loretta Nelson, age 85, of River Falls, WI passed away March 20, 2017 at Christian Community Home in Hudson, WI. Grace was a Christmas baby, born December 25, 1931 to Tony and Helen Richert of Afton, MN. She was married to Norman Nelson on the 16th of June, 1956.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Norman; daughter, Tammy; brothers, Bill and Leo Richert, and her parents.
Grace is survived by her sons, Patrick (Kathy) Nelson of Waterville, IA, David (Dorothy) Nelson of River Falls, WI; daughter, Heidi (Gordon) Perry of Roberts, WI; grandchildren, Michelle (Andy Dundee) Nelson, Jeremy (Julian Miles) Nelson, Erica (Scott Baumann) Nelson, Nick (Kayla Oelkers) Nelson, Jesse (Lexie Schultz) Nelson, Cindy (Ryan Britton) Nelson, Christian Nelson, Shannon Perry, Benjamin Perry, Holly and Tony Bloom, Casey Perry, Tia (Andrew Gardner) Perry, Tyler Perry; great-grandchildren, Gibson, Kinsley, Emma, Brianna, Parker, Owen, Hailey, Mason, Knox, and great-grandbaby Nelson (joyful parents, Jeremy and Julian) expected in late July; brothers, Loren and Andy Richert; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Richert, Carol Richert, Cheryl Richert, and Bonnie P. Grace is further survived by many other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Luther Memorial Church, River Falls, WI, visitation 10:00 a.m., prior to the service. Friday, March 24, 4-8 p.m. there is a visitation at Cashman-Hill Funeral Home in River Falls. Interment will be in Kinnickinnic Cemetery.
