Jonathan David Langford, 55, of River Falls, Wisconsin, died Friday, March 31, 2017 at his home.

Jonathan was born January 5, 1962 in Oxnard, California to Arthur Manley Langford and Kathryn Louise Dean. He married Laurel Fearnley on December 19, 1987 in Provo, Utah. Jonathan graduated with a Masters Degree in English from Brigham Young University and worked as a writer and editor.

Jonathan was survived by his wife, Laurel Langford; three children, Nathan, Rowan, and Michael Langford; mother; and five siblings, Nancy Waugh, Marilyn McNaughton, Janet Hanson, Sheila Langford, and Michael Langford.

Preceded in death by his father.

He was a lover of good food, good books, and good conversation, but reserved his greatest love for his friends and family. He will be greatly missed for his humor, wisdom, and thoughtfulness.

A funeral service for Jonathan will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 8, 2017, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hudson, WI. A Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the church.

A private family burial will be at Kinnickinnic Cemetery in River Falls, WI.
