Delaine M. Peterson

Delaine Maxine (Helmer) Peterson, 87, of Beldenville, Wisconsin, passed away on April 24, 2017 at St. Crispin Living Community in Red Wing.

Delaine was born September 13, 1929 at her home in Pierce County, Wisconsin to Ernest and Lillian (Warnberg) Helmer. She married Glenn Peterson on July 10, 1947 in Beldenville and worked as a bartender for Big Horn Bar for over 48 years.

Delaine was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, Clarence, Gene, and Donald Helmer, and sister Betty Young.

She is survived by her six children, Barbara (Ernie) Punches, Steven (Charlene) Peterson, Virginia (Terry) Bishop, Kathryn (Richard) Rice, Carolyn Peterson, and Kevin Peterson, fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, one brother, Dennis (Annie) Helmer, and two sisters, Edith Azure, and Dorothy Muto.

A Visitation for Delaine will be 10:00 am, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the English Lutheran Church in Ellsworth, Wisconsin with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am and a luncheon to follow. Burial will be in the Beldenville, Cemetery, in Beldenville, Wisconsin with Matthew and Zachary Punches, Marcus and Jonathan Peterson, Tony Doolittle, and Greyson Rice serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer, Eric Peterson.
