Carolyn “Carole” Rosalie Walker, age 97, of Ellsworth, WI died peacefully at her home on Friday, June 9, 2017. She was born on December 25, 1919 in Holden, MO to John and Cecila (Hutchinson) Farr. On September 29, 1937 Carole was united in marriage to John Polk and to this union five children were born. On February 18, 1969 John passed away. On September 29, 1979 she married Arlo Walker and they had thirty one years together until his death on May 13, 2011.

Carole enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, dancing, traveling and crossword puzzles. She was an avid church attendee.
She is preceded in death by her parents; both her husbands; son, Perry Polk; all her brothers and sisters.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Dave Kumferman) Ekstrom, Jeanette (Richard) Clifford, Toni (Dean) Caturia, Sally Borst; daughter-in law, Connie Polk; 16 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren and also many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Carole will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, June 16th at Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, WI with visitation from 4:00-6:00 PM. Private family interment at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ellsworth.
Carole was a very strong lady who always put her family first and will be missed by all.
