Albert Gerald Timmerman, age 96, of River Falls, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Kinnic Health & Rehab in River Falls. He was born on December 14, 1920 on a farm near River Falls to George and Vivian (Cummings) Timmerman. On April 9, 1944 Albert was united in marriage to Margaret L. Pepper in River Falls.

He spent most of his life as a farmer, after farming for over 50 years he began selling farm machinery for Equity CO-OP in River Falls. Albert had a love for horses his whole life along with old farm machinery and was instrumental in the starting of St. Croix Valley Collectors Association.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Vivian; son, John; sister, Leone Johnson; brothers, Mert and George Timmerman; sister-in-law, Clarice (John) Graham.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Margaret; children, Harley (Sue) Timmerman, Jean (Del) Wacker, George (Suzanne) Timmerman, Margaret Ann Timmerman (husband, Nick Parker); grandchildren, Mark and Emily Wacker, Amanda Timmerman, Sarah Lim; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Sean, Matthew, Miles, Sidney, Cameron; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM Friday, December 15th at United Methodist Church, 127 S. 2nd St., River Falls, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM also at the church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls, WI.
