Betty Lou Janisch, age 90, of El Paso Township, died Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Kinnic Health and Rehab in River Falls, WI.
Betty was born April 29, 1929, in Red Wing MN, to Clarence and Martha (Behnke) Stachele.
She married Eugene Victor Janisch on May 31, 1951. Together they farmed and raised a family. Betty worked many years for the Rod’n Gun chicken fry and volunteered her time teaching CCD. She loved gardening, sewing, baking, trips to the casino, living in the country, growing flowers, going to the cabin and hearing all about the adventures of her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughters, Suzanne Fagerland and Barbara (Paul) Huppert, eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her spouse, Eugene, and grandson, Jason Micheal Huppert.
A private family service will be held at St Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth WI. Interment will take place in the Lost is Creek/Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
