Karen Emily Hunnicutt Germani passed away Monday the 16th of September 2019 at South Bay Hospital in Sun City Center, FL.. The burial service will be at Greenwood Cemetery in River Falls, WI on Saturday the 12th of October 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Karen was born in River Falls, WI on April 9th, 1939 to Milton Stanley and Dorothy Meriel Symes Hunnicutt. Upon graduation from high school in Frederic, WI, she traveled to NY to attend nurses training at Grasslands Hospital, where she received her RN degree. Karen specialized in geriatric care and for years served as the supervisor of nursing at the Sarah Neumann Nursing Home in Larchmont, NY. During those years, she also had a successful business of taking care of home bound patients. Karen is survived by her daughters, Diane Dillashaw and husband Bill of Riverview, FL and Jennifer Bringman and husband Peter of Danbury, CT., grandchildren Nicholas Gregorio and Christina Gregorio of Riverview, FL, Amanda Bringman, Emma Bringman and Madeline Bringman of Danbury, CT, sisters Mary Anne Frandsen of Mesa, AZ, Maybeth Peterson of Baxter, TN, Ellen Hunnicutt of Mesa, AZ and brother Stephen Hunnicutt of Webster, WI. Karen will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her kind and compassionate treatment to everyone.
