Margaret Kullman

Margaret Marie Kullman, age 81 of Prescott WI, died on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Prescott Nursing and Rehab. Margaret was born September 29, 1938 on the family farm in Eau Galle WI to parents Edward and Ann Marie (Kohlman) Radle. Margaret graduated from Durand High School with the Class of 1956. Margaret worked for a few short years as a bookkeeper with Montgomery Wards, but then marriage and raising a family became her priority and she never looked back. On October 4, 1958, Margaret was united in marriage to Duane F. Kullman at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Eau Galle. Their union in marriage would be blessed with five daughters and over 59 years of love and devotion before Duane’s passing in October of 2017.

Margaret was devoted in her faith and had a heart for serving others. She enjoyed providing rides and support to friends and neighbors, volunteering at the Prescott Care Center and serving in the St. Joseph Parish Council of Catholic Women. A fabulous cook and baker who also loved to grow and can her own vegetables from the garden. She always enjoyed a good game of cards and hosting card parties. She loved reading and the simple pleasure and feeling of contentment that came with getting her hair done. Above all, Margaret lived for her family, and they will miss her dearly.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Bob) Jancoski, Mary (Ariel) Soriano, Karen Kask, Janet (Dave) Wittman, and Jody (Greg) Walen; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister-in-law, Liz Kullman; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; her parents; her son-in-law, Duane Kask; and her siblings, Delores, Gladys, Lawrence, and Raymond.

Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret Kullman will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 28th at the St Joseph Parish, 269 Dakota Street So. In Prescott WI, with Rev. Fr. George Szews officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to Mass at the church. Margaret will be buried in the parish cemetery. Memorials honoring Margaret Kullman may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
