Barbara Louise Eichman, age 70 of Prescott, WI, passed away May 2, 2020 at the Prescott Nursing & Rehab. Barbara was born April 22, 1950 in Prescott, WI to Kenneth and Beverly (Horbach) Eichman. She graduated from Prescott High School, with the Class of 1968. Barb furthered her education to earn a licensed practical nursing degree. She loved her work as an LPN for Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, MN, with her career there spanning over 30 years.

Most important to Barb was her family. She was a wonderful mother to her daughter, Shawna, always providing unconditional love, exceptional nurturing, and caring. Barb’ s heart was happiest when she became a grandma. She truly treasured her time with her grandchildren, looking forward to every visit, always full of love, and embracing each moment. She delighted in cooking wonderful meals for her family, watching the MN Twins and Green Bay Packers play, and being in the presence of her family and friends.

Barb will remain in the hearts of her daughter, Shawna Eichman (Pete Nicolay); beloved grandchildren, Emersyn Eichman, Ramsey Nicolay, and Oakley Nicolay; eight siblings: Terry (Tami) Eichman, Kay (Beatta) Eichman, Floyd (Lisa) Eichman, Cheryl (Craig) Tousley, Marilee (Don) Gutting, John (Cathy) Eichman, Ruth (Mike) Schrantz, and Candace (Terry) Heimerl; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Beverly Eichman; nieces, Amber and Andrea Eichman; nephews, Ryan Tousley and Garrett Eichman.
