Roxanne Harer

Roxanne Harer, age 63 of River Falls, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 20, 2021.  Roxi was born on September 17, 1958; the daughter of Robert Sr. and Ruth (Rimer) Karras.  She attended St. Bridget Catholic School and graduated with RFHS Class of 1976.  She worked at McMillan Electric Company in Woodville, WI for many years.

Roxi loved spending time with her family and looked forward to getting together with her siblings as often as possible.  She treasured her time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed puzzles, gardening, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, watching TV game shows, taking care of her plants, spoiling her cats and was always ready for a trip to the casino.  Growing up, Roxi enjoyed family vacations, sewing (especially bell-bottom pants) and the weekly family picnics and volleyball games.

Roxi was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roy.  Her gentle spirit will live on in all those who loved her.  Roxi is survived by her life partner, Dick Ahlgren, her children, Connie Markos (Chris), Scott Harer and daughter-in-heart Kim Krupka; grandchildren, Cody, Kayley and Karissa; siblings, Barb (Jim) Mikul, Robert Jr. (Janet) Karras, Ralph (Kathy) Karras, Randy (Nancy) Karras, Renee (Brian) Hammond, Rhonda (Jay) Purfeerst, and Rich (Jenny) Karras; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  She is further survived by Reese Madlem, along with many other wonderful caregivers.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 30th at St. Bridget Catholic Church in River Falls, Wisconsin.  The mass will be livestreamed to: https://www.youtube.com/saintbridget.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
