Steven Brian Traynor

Steven Traynor, age 65 of West St. Paul, formerly of Ellsworth, died October 17th 2021 at his residence. Steve was born on March 8, 1956 in St. Paul; the son of George and Dorothy (Ehrnreiter) Traynor. He was raised in El Paso before moving to Ellsworth where he graduated from high school in the class of ’74.  He would further his schooling in Red Wing in HVAC.  He would be married to his former spouse Charlene Regelman to which children Adam and Jennifer were born. He worked for Red Wing Shoes for many years in their manufacturing department. Steve would suffer a catastrophic stroke that left him paralyzed on his left side over twenty years ago.  Steve was always hard working and determined. He never wavered in his unconditional love for his family and children. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who never failed to put a big smile on his face and sense of pure joy. Steve enjoyed listening to 80’s rock, cheering on the Green and Gold on Sundays, and classic cars.

Steve will remain in the hearts of his children; Adam (Sarah) Traynor, Jennifer Traynor; grandchildren Ava, Emma, Kenna, Maddy, Dior; siblings Rosemary (Mark) Gatto, Bill Traynor, and their extended families. His parents precede him in death.

Graveside service for Steven Traynor will be 3PM, Friday October 22nd at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in El Paso. A visitation will also be held for his family and friends Thursday, October 21st from 5pm to 7pm at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Ellsworth.  Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Ellsworth.
