Benjamin Kelln Jr.

Benjamin Kelln Jr, age 57, passed away unexpectedly from an epileptic seizure,  February 20, 2022 at his home in Ellsworth, WI.

Ben was born in Milwaukee, WI to parents Benjamin and Beverly (Cyrus) Kelln on November 2, 1964. He attended school in Milwaukee and later, went on to work at Parameters Industries Inc. in Waukesha, WI, where he would excel in the shipping and receiving department for over 20 years.

Ben married Rachael Sollman on March 4, 1994 and in their 10 years of marriage, were blessed with 2 daughters, Marrissa and Breanna.  Benjamin loved being a dad and with his kind, and fun personality, he was great at it.  Ben was a dad to everyone and always strived to be a good role model to those around him. As much as he loved being a dad, he especially loved being a grandpa.  A lot of his time was spent outdoors grilling, going to parks, or going to the beach with his family.  He enjoyed working and was good at fixing things.  When he did get a moment to relax, he loved watching movies! Rocky, Big Bang Theory, anything Adam Sandler, In Living Color and Waterworld were some of his top favorites.  He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to make people laugh. He would often say “Damn, I’m so good looking” and “Yeahhhhhhhh baby,” sparking up laughs around the room. Ben  knew how to keep life interesting and he certainly lived life to the fullest, making sure to celebrate 420 on a daily basis. He will forever be missed by all those that knew him.

Benjamin will remain in the hearts of his daughters, Marrissa Kelln and Breanna Kelln; grandson, Kyler Weber; siblings, Candy (John) Jiryes and Connie Kelln; nieces, Tanya and Britta; nephews, Terry and Jonathan; ex-wife, Rachael Williams; close friend, Bill Infault; his cats, Evan and Garfunkel; and other family and friends.  He is preceded in death by parents, Benjamin and Beverly; and sister, Carmen Brant.

A Celebration of Life for Ben will be held 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in River Falls, WI. Memorials preferred to the family. Services entrusted through the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of River Falls.
