Donald Leroy Skeesick, age 72 of Prescott WI, died on Sunday evening, April 19, 2020. Donald was born May 20, 1947 in Minneapolis MN to parents Vannie and Lena (Osterberg) Skeesick. Donald grew up in Minneapolis, and attended Marshall-University High School, graduating with the Class of 1965. Following high school, Donald proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Donald worked for many years as a production technician for 3M in their film manufacturing division. Outside of work, Donald could be found outside, enjoying the great outdoors, where he especially loved to hunt and trout fish.

Donald is survived by his children, Christine (Brian) Manning, Kelly (Scott) Terpening, and Scott (Sonya) Skeesick; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

A Celebration of Life for Donald Skeesick is being planned for a later date, and will be announced closer to that time. Donald’s final place of rest will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials honoring Donald may be directed to the discretion of the family.
