Joseph Anthony Riley

Joseph Anthony Riley, age 63 of Prescott passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home. Joe was born on June 13, 1958 to Neil and Consuelo (Romero) Riley in Hastings, Minnesota. He graduated from Prescott High School in 1976. On June 2, 1979, Joe married the love of his life Julie Allie. Their union blessed them with three children, Brandon, Melissa, and Rachel.

Joe dedicated many years of his life coaching youth sports and serving as Chief Union Steward for the Teamsters Local 120. He loved hunting, playing with his grandkids in the pool, and cruising on his motorcycle. He was a very generous man beyond belief, almost to a fault, who will be missed by many.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Julie; children: Brandon (Jess) Riley, Melissa (Justin) Wilwert, and Rachel (Scott) Conant; grandchildren: Zachary, Skylar, Hazel, Blake, Etta, Joseph, Anthony, and Allie; siblings: John (Anita) Riley, Neil (Jan) Riley, Bill (Brenda) Riley, Carm (Roger) Klegin, Dennis Riley, Mary (Tim) Shafer, Mike Riley, Tim (Shelby) Riley, Ginny (Greg) Anger, Wita (Kevin) Erickson, Tom (Bradi) Riley; along with many nieces and nephews, and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Neil and Connie Riley; parents-in-law, Jerry and Judy Allie; sister-in-law Jackie Riley; nephews Tripp and Freddie.

A celebration of life will be on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Old Ptacek’s Event Center 1449 Orrin Rd, Prescott, WI 54021. Greetings will start at 1:00 with a service at 2:00, and a celebration of life will follow until 6:00 PM.
